Tucker's Puppet Theatre Presents: It's the Wolf!

On Wednesday March 25th at 3:30, Tucker's Puppet Theatre will present a show for ages 4 and up. In It's the Wolf some days are bad; others are big, bad & particularly troublesome. On this particular day, you're really in trouble if you happen to be a hungry wolf. And a day like the one Mr. Furr E. Wolf experiences would make a Bengal Tiger become a vegetarian! Join us as we follow Mr. Wolf through some of his most famous adventures: Three Little Pigs , Br'er Rabbit & The Wolf, Red Riding Hood and The 3 Billy Goats Gruff. (What's a wolf doing in 3 Billy Goats Gruff...?)

New Communities Joining LOGIN

We are very happy to announce that we're welcoming four new communities, Monroe Township, Washington Township, Paulsboro and Pitman into our LOGIN Library Consortium. The Margaret E. Heggan Library of Washington Township, the McCowan Memorial Library of Pitman, the Monroe Township Free Public Library in Williamstown and the Gill Memorial Library in Paulsboro have now completed their conversions. Your Woodbury Public Library card can now be used at 20 LOGIN member libraries by visiting their facilities in person, or by requesting material to be shipped to Woodbury for pickup. This means you can borrow material from every public library in Gloucester County! The LOGIN Consortium is a win/win situation for all library users, and a great example of the best use of your tax dollars.

Stop Hunger Drop-Off Center

Did you every want to really help someone? The Woodbury Public Library is a drop off center for non-perishable foods that will be distributed to the local food bank. We have a large metal container just waiting for your generous donations. Next time you visit the library bring a food item to help your neighbors.

Do We Have the Book Group for You!

The library has seen the attendance at our original book group grow so much that we started a second one. We now offer an evening book group that meets the second Wednesday of every month at 7 PM, and an afternoon book group that meets the second Tuesday of every month at 1 pm.

The best words to describe these groups are 'fun' and 'informal'. There are lots of laughs to go along with discussion, and a variety of opinions on the latest book we’ve read. Both groups are open to all adults, and  the library can obtain a copy of the book selection for all interested participants. For more information on our book discussion groups and our current title selections, please visit use this link to Readers Circle.

Knitting for Relaxation Program

Ever want to learn how to knit? The Woodbury Public Library holds a knitting club to teach the basics of knitting on the first Monday of every month. There is no fee; this program is sponsored by the Kennedy Health System. Please call the library at (856) 845-2611 to reserve a space.
