September 2, 2011

The Woodbury Public Library is a member of LOGIN, a consortium of public and
academic libraries mostly located in Gloucester County. Our unified catalog
indexes more than 800,000 items available at 20 libraries. You can locate material
here or at any of our member libraries, place holds on items, view your own
patron record, and request renewals using the
LOGIN Catalog. For more information about the LOGIN consortium, see our
LOGIN page.

Thanks to the generous support of our Friends group,
Woodbury Public Library cardholders can now use their library card barcode
number to access best-selling and classic audiobooks and eBooks FREE at the
South Jersey Downloadable
Audiobook and eBook Center! You can use this online service, powered by OverDriveŽ, to browse the collection from home at any time of the day or
night and check out up to 8 selections at a time. Many titles can be
downloaded directly to compatible mobile devices including Nook, Sony
Reader, iPod, iPad, iPhone, BlackBerry, Android phone, and others.* Other
titles can be downloaded to your PC or Mac and then transferred to your
device; some audio titles can even be burned to CD. Titles will
automatically expire at the end of the lending period — there are no late
fees!
To get started visit
http://sjrlc.lib.overdrive.com.
First-time users may need to install free Overdrive Media Console and Adobe
Digital Editions software. When you visit the South Jersey Audiobook and
eBook Center for the first time we recommend that you start by clicking on
the ‘MyHelp!’
link on the left side of the page. It offers great customized help based on
which device(s) you plan to use, and walks you through the process of
installing software and getting started.
*Windows
7 phones will be supported shortly, and Amazon Kindle compatibility is
slated for some time this fall.
If
you're a Woodbury Public Library cardholder and can’t find what you need
in the
LOGIN catalog, you can use
JerseyCat to request material via Interlibrary Loan.
JerseyCat
includes the collections of almost all of New Jersey's public libraries,
as well as many colleges, universities and schools. You may place your
Interlibrary loan requests online through JerseyCat, or by calling the
library at (856) 845-2611.
Important:
Please search the
LOGIN Catalog before requesting items through
JerseyCat. Interlibrary loans should only be used to request materials that are
not available through LOGIN. In order to be eligible to use this service,
you must have a valid Woodbury Public Library card and be a borrower in
good standing. If your card was issued by another LOGIN library, please arrange your Interlibrary Loans through that
library.
Be sure to
include your name, phone number and library card barcode number on the
online
JerseyCat ILL request form to avoid any delay in processing your
request. The library will contact you by phone when your items arrive.
For help with
JerseyCat, or for any other interlibrary loan assistance, please call
the Woodbury Public Library at (856) 845-2611.
