Pick up a Gloucester County Workforce Development Board Opportunity Guide at the Woodbury Public Library. The Opportunity Guide is a comprehensive list of organizations and programs for job seekers and business owners. 

In collaboration with the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development, the American Job Center (AJC) is located at 215 Crown Point Rd, Thorofare, NJ 08086 and is open Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm.  

The American Job Center is staffed with qualified professionals who can assist with obtaining employment or the training you need to meet the demands of our present workforce. Employment counselors can help Job Seekers explore career choices relating to their interests and abilitities and will help them explore occupations that best utilize their skills in the current job market. 

 The American Job Center at Gloucester County offers educational training programs in vocational and trade schools, on-the-job training with local employers and apprenticeships in many fields. In addition, Job Search Readiness Workshops provide information on how to successfully look for a job, conduct yourself in an interview, write a resume or learn about the local labor market.
