DONATE YOUR LIKE-NEW OR GENTLY USED BOOKS
Need more space on your bookshelf? Why not “Read-cyle?” The Library is always looking for donations of new, like new, or gently used books to keep our book sale going. Share your love of reading and give back to your community at the same time.
Please read more about donating used books below:
Unfortunately, due to limited space the Library cannot accept donations of badly worn, torn, marked up, stained, musty or moldy items. We also do not accept donations of textbooks, encyclopedia sets, cassette tapes, or VHS tapes.
All items must be dropped off at the main circulation desk during regular business hours. Please make sure that the books are in sturdy boxes or bags that you are willing to part with. If you have more than 5 bags/boxes please call ahead to make sure we have room 856.845.2611.
Due to safety concerns, no packages dropped off outside of the building will be accepted.
What types of materials do we need?
- New & Bestselling adult & children’s items
- Large print materials
Whether it is for a Birthday, Graduation, Anniversary or in memory of someone you love, a Book Plate is a unique gift for the book lover in your life and benefits the Library and its community.
How Does it Work?
Simply click here and make a donation of $50 or more. Make a note of your desired description in the notes field. The Library will then purchase the book you’ve selected and place your unique book plate inside once it arrives. We will mail a letter to you and the desired recipient once the book has been cataloged and processed for our collection.
Not only, have you purchased a book for the Library, all proceeds directly benefit the Friends of the Woodbury Public Library and each time someone checks out the book you purchased they will see your note of love.
